[L1020] Will a constant charge cause damage?

Hi

I have a lumia 1020, I felt my device seemed a bit hot today(I think it might be skype) so I was looking around and found battery doctors, which I thought would have a cpu temperature reading but could not find it.

Anyways I plugged in my device and I guess it finished charging and battery doctor did a push notification telling me "caution battery charged".

Now I am wondering if it is bad to have it always charging? I plug my phone always in at work because I listen to music and use it. I don't want a almost drained phone at the end of the day. I also leave it charging all night when I go to bed.

Not necessarily.
It should be relatively OK since it stops charging when full and probably bounces between 100% and a few points lower.

My two cents is dont leave it plugged in constantly gaming for long times (more power in, more power out = more wear, heat won't help either)

But eh, you should be fine using it as you feel like it.
