We have a lot of forum postings with all of us looking for a solution to the tempered screen protectors and the curved 1520 (as well as the other Nokia's) screen. Now companies like BodyGuardz and a few others are coming out with a 'crown' or 'bezzle' that gets installed secondly that fixes this issue. Problem is they are only making them for iPhones and the Samsung's. Anyone see a company yet that is making a similar product for the 1520?

Haven't seen anything like that but I would love to be able to use a tempered glass screen protector on my 930. Curved glass screen is beautiful but sure hard to protect.

Yea the 1520 glass curve is much more settle than what the 930 screen curves appear to look like. The 930/ICON screen looks much more curvaceous...

It is. I miss having a glass protector but it looks atrocious on the 930 screen.

Lol yea because the screen protectors cant cover the whole display. They practically sit dead in the middle scared to even come close to the edges from what ive seen online. Not only does that look bad, but other than to keep the very middle of the display from getting light scratches, it really doesnt do much or serve much of a purpose IMO...

If you ever see anything like this for our WPs please post.

Back when i had my yellow 1520, I wore a tempered glass screen protector over it, and it was pretty good. It was simplistic and went as close to the edges of the phone as it could without hitting the curves. It came from china and was originally ordered for my red 1520, but it arrived shortly after that one broke.

I actually wish ms would stick to flat screens on their high ends, just to remedy this issue. I have tempered glass on my 1520, and it can't quite cover the width of the screen... so you get two thin vertical strips on both sides that look like a shadow. But it is at least protected from scratches.

Or they could just make the same products in house with the crown and sell them in the Microsoft store. They would have no problem selling them.
