Only 3 things matter for me when picking a mid/low range phones.
Battery life
Ram-- most apps require 1gig to run 😢
style -- 635 has swappable backs with available colors.

Does this phone offer any new features I might not know about that 810 dont have?
Both are trending at 80-90 $$ on eBay.

the 810 is a great device and even better after you put the dev preview on it. the only thing going against it is BT 3.0, no firmware updates. that's about it that I can think of my experience with both phones

I just need a phone to hold me until the next high range comes out or at least Lumia 830 for Tmobile.
Just broke my Lumia 920.

Most apps do not require 1 GB of RAM. Most run just fine on 512 MB.

A data point. I am *very* satisfied with my 635 and for me it has never been memory starved. It's a great phone.

635 has LTE, Miracast, and BT 4 LE
810 doesn't.

I forgot about Miracast, and LTE. theyre necessity.
I purchased on this weekend at a microsoft store.
Even though I feel slight lag during switching animation, compared to my broken 920, it is still manageable. I'm going to miss Glance and wireless charging though. :(

It really depends what your are going to use it for.

The CPU is pretty much the same performance wise.

That 1Gb of RAM makes a difference for me though.
The only con of the 810 is that it is EOL and won't officially get any updates anymore.

Which can be bypassed by enrolling in Preview for Developers.

OTOH if you're looking at the 810, why not check the 822. It is the better alternative with 16GB of ROM
