Lag after Update 1.

So after using 8.1 Developer Preview extensively and Lumia Cyan I've experienced no issues whatsoever, but after updating to Update 1 I've experience frequent lag on my Lumia 925. Especially with built-in software and apps. Examples include when loading the keyboard, when going back to the start screen and the notification center. Anyone else experiencing this issues? And if so, is there a fix or do we have to wait for a firmware update?

I'm experiencing a similar problem on my 920. The system is (compared to 8.0) not running smooth anymore and about 1/8 of the screen on the bottom is... let's say lagging. It is most visible when moving from left to right, for example from home screen to applications and vice versa. Seems like the HW can't display the whole display information at once. But it's hard to describe. When running a game or anything, it's gone and runs smooth as before.

yes gentlemen thats why i restored my lumia 1020 and did offical cyan update and havent done GDR1 everything is fine.

Scrolling on Home Screen is too slow and have some tiles have a delay to show information.

That's why I wait for cyan. No more preview after that! It's very annoying. I have many lags every day

I went from 8.0 to official 8.1 with Cyan, no preview or something like that, I was waiting for the official files, though it was long, and still have issues

Well, I just installed today's update and so far the problems seem to be gone. I think...

If you have enabled auto upload to OneDrive then you would not have anything to worry about

Well, with Nokia Recovery you'll lose your data for sure, but it'll help to get the phone working if it stays stuck on the gears.

I'm experiencing lag while returning to the app list and start screen even after yesterday's update. I tried un pinning Cortana from the start screen but that didn't help.

Did you guys have Live Lock Screen installed? Or uninstalled?

Nope, never in my case

The lag isn't so much in the action of opening apps. It happens mostly with WP's animations, like returning to the Start screen. I even reset my phone without restoring the backup and the problem persists. Digging up in different sites the lag was brought by Update 1.
On a side note, I recently gave my gf an HTC 8x that has 8.1, but doesn't have Update 1 and shows no signs of lag.
