Latest Firmware for L950/950XL now (OTA)

Firmware (01078.00038.16082.360xx) from March 2016 which was released only over WDRT, now released over-the-air (OTA).

Update for L950/950XL from (01078.00038.16025.390xx) to (01078.00038.16082.360xx).
Same for L650 (01078.00037.16082.410xx) should be available for everyone (OTA).

Recommendation:
At the moment the best option for stability, performance and battery is the latest firmware with latest official OS release .164 which is the best of W10M yet, avoid preview Redstone builds.

Is this a regional thing perhaps? My unlocked dual sim 950 on AT&T in the USA is only seeing 01078.00038.16025.390xx on the WDRT and no OTA update available.

I thought they said this is the same as the 16025 with just very little changes that only have to do with rolling back with the wdrt and nothing else

Until today I have seen this update only on WDRT, in the morning checked my main L950 for updates and it showed up as MICROSOFTMDG, installed and it was 16082 OTA, Unlocked EU/Lithuania.
So it is (OTA), but could be it is still regional.

Yes, but I think that statement from LumiaSWUpdates (on Twitter) is a bit strange. On WDRT, they have ROMs. A bundle of OS+FW, which is flashed to your device.

According to them, it was the same FW, but with a new OS (.164 instead of .107). But then the firmware number should be the same.

I think it's a minor update to the .00038. FW, so it means it's not EXACTLY the same.

Yet when I run the lumia phone test application it tells me I have to update firmware first for reliability. And I won't update as it reinstalls everything including OS. I would prefer to get it OTA but there's nothing here in Canada on Rogers.
