LED Question

This is probably a stupid question, but does the Touch Pro, specifically the Fuze, have a LED besides around the zoom wheel? Up near the ear piece it looks like there might be another LED but I can't tell. Not that it is a big deal, more that I am just curious.

It's a light sensor. It uses the sensor to detect ambient light and adjust the screen brightness.

just curious becuase i havent got my fuze yet. but does the LED around the zoom change colors and if so what colors?
because i love LED lights for new notifications

Ok, that makes sense about the light sensor, thanks. Sadly, I also like LEDs. Don't know why, kind of stupid but I loved being able to look at my Treo with Treo Alert and be able to tell if I had an email, sms or voicemail waiting. But to answer your question, no, it is just a white light. It may move different directions for different items, I haven't figured that out yet.

same reason i love the leds on my berry but thats a bummer about the notifications on the fuze but o well i will get over it...
the fuze seems to be the best sexiest phone on the market right now so im not gone let that led get in my way of having the best phone in my school once again lol!!

Here you go....

LED: It does have LED notifications, but you are correct in the fact that there are not the traditional LEDs. Not having the traditional LEDs is often times considered a blessing, considering the lengths that many go to (me included) to disable them on other phones because of how bright and annoying they can become. Here are the LEDs with the Touch Pro

• LEDs. Instead the Touch Pro uses the Nav Control LED and other button LEDs for a lot of its communications. For example it :
• Talk Key: flashes with incoming call
• End Key: light stays solid when there is an incoming call.
• Nav Control:
  
  [*]LED ring shows "breathing" white light when battery is charging
  [*]Shows a solid white light when battery is fully charged
  [*]Flashes when battery level is below 10%
  [*]Top and bottom parts of the ring flashes twice with a new email, voicemail, or meeting reminder.
  [*]White light goes around the LED ring counterclockwise twice with a missed call or new SMS message.​

There is not an In Service or BT indicator that I am aware of, but this may prove to be a software issue solved by the community or maybe even a simple reg hack.
