Let's hope WP8 is done better than Surface RT

Well, a followup. The lag is fixed- seems like hacking the Surface to put your profile on a 64 GB SD card is really really a bad idea.

The rest of my complaints stand, however. The thing needs work, but at least the lag is gone!

Wait... so you "hacked" your tablet and then have complaints about it and blame MS? That makes no sense.

what this man said is sooo true, early adopters just gotta deal with the problems. Give it time and if you can't then return it, that's how its gonna be.

I like mine. The more I use it the more I enjoy it. My biggest beef is that there are NO cases to put this in. I did not get the keyboard but I'm hoping this going to be THE only solution for a case.

The good thing is that MS is working on it - constantly. There have been two big performance updates since it was released, including a large firmware update. It's only going to get better. App makers are continuing to tweek their apps for performance, and may apps that had lag before have been fixed. It is a Rev 1.0 product, but still gives me more capability than the iPad ever has.
