LG Quantum overheating

Hey i've been having problems with my LG Quantum for a while now. I've had it for a year and it tends to randomly overheat (get almost to hot too touch) and boot to the LG screen. I fix this by removing the battery and putting it back in. I've also had many problems with it randomly texting people things I sent to other people, also in some cases I don't receive texts/calls. The screen normally lights up before getting a text/call and in some cases it does this but nothing follows. I was wondering if any of you guys had any problems like this and have any solutions? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

We've got 3 LG Quantums in the family and have not had that kind of problem. My son's had an issue charging right before the year warranty was up but AT&T replaced it without any issues. No problems so far with the other 2.

Get a replacement.

Haven't had that issue with my Quantum. Perhaps try replacing the battery?
