Line App updated today causing image received not able to be displayed or saved

Hi, this is my first post.

I updated my Line app today. Right now all the images received in my messages are not able to be open or save anymore. When I tried, it will display a black screen and freeze for a few seconds. I even tried restarting the phone. I haven't tried reinstalling the app, since I don't want to lose my chat history. Hopefuly someone has solutions or LINE is watching this forum.

I am using Lumia 928 on Verizon. Windows Phone 8.1 preview, of course.
