Can this be done? I tried the other day by starting Pandora then firing up endomondo but as soon as I started the workout Pandora closed out. I don't load music on my phone and always use Pandora. Was hoping I could get this working otherwise I will have to use my android phone when I workout.

Endomondo is not cool with music.. I hate the way it plays local music.. Not random, but the same playlist that cannot edit every workout...

Yes, it kills Pandora whenever it pauses the music to update the user's performance. Maybe you can use it of you turn off audible notifications... I will have to try it..

That's what I was figuring. As soon as endomondo said something the music stopped and didn't come back on. Sucks. Its the workout app I prefer. Good thing I have another phone I can use.

The first time it stopped the background music, did it ask you for your permission to do so? Not doing so violates the application certification requirements. You might contact the publisher and let them know this.

Additional requirements for specific app types for Windows Phone Section 6.5

Nope didn't ask me anything. I started Pandora and had the music playing. Started endomondo and selected my workout hit start and it said workout started or something and it killed the music completely.

On my bike ride to work, I decided to disable pep talk and audio coach and play Pandora. It worked.

This is an alternative though there are times I do want these on. Remember to start your music and go back to the endomondo app or the screen will time out per your settings.

Awesome thanks for the tip.
