Listening to YouTube while the screen is locked

When driving I always use youtube in my lumia 920 to listen to music or interviews or lectures, during that time i don't need the phone screen to be open, but when I press the lock screen key the audio stops because youtube will not work while the screen is locked. is there a way to listen to youtube while the screen is switched off? That will save allot of battery energy.

Use Mytube...it has an option to open the video as an audio only file and you can play it on the background with screen locked like a normal music player.....this also saves data and battery
