Live tile problems - possible fix

This may be only voodoo, but it doesn't harm. So give it a try and post your results!

We have all sorts of live tiles not updating. Production or preview, doesn't matter. Sometimes it works for a few days, then it's broken again. Soft resets, reinstalls may help, but never for long.

So try this simple trick:

1. Put phone on charger (USB).
2. Switch off phone.
3. Keep phone on charger

Phone will immediately reboot, because charging needs a running system. After the reboot, magically all live tiles do what they are supposed to.

This may not be a lasting solution. It may be total rubbish. Voodoo which works only on my phone. You never know with W10M. But a try costs nothing.

In my experience a simple restart also does the trick as it forces the tile to refresh which is quite visible as the tiles go blank and come alive again. But thanks for sharing.

I used to switch off the phone at night. Mixed results next morning when switching on. Often tile problems from the beginning.
With the charger on during reboot, there seem to be some differences. At least worth a try.
