Locating Items with your phone?

Does anybody use an item locator, such as Tile or Chipolo?

I think they are interesting, but I have never used a Bluetooth tracker. Hopefully someone with some real world experience will chime in. I have seen people sell Nokia Treasure Tags, a similar product, so there are people who at least owned them, if not used them a lot.
