I have a batch file that turns on Location settings in Windows 10 (LTSB 2015), however, I do not get GPS data until and unless I manually go to Settings->Location Settings and turn it off then back on. This is the registry setting I am changing:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\lfsvc\Service\Configuration]
"Status"=dword:00000001
I have also tried these:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\CapabilityAccessManager\ConsentStore\location]
"Value"="Allow
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\CapabilityAccessManager\ConsentStore\location]
"Value"="Allow"
[KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lfsvc\TriggerInfo\3]
These do work to turn on the settings but like I said, the only way I can see GPS data is if I manually turn Location settings off and back on.
I did not find a Group Policy that enables the settings, only ones that allow application to access the location settings.
