Nobody knows exactly when. But possibly after WP 8.1 is officially released to public via Cyan update.

You can change how your lock screen appears yet much better than Android .

ok. that means i can split the lock screen in 2-3, and decided which app should show up on that?
sounds cool. or something else or something more?
anyhow, i am actually satisfied with the current lockscreens. thus, anything more or better that this, will be awesome.

Rudy huyn Is working hard with Microsoft to bring lock screen themes / live lock screen in windows phone 8.1 , you can customize your lock screen further by new fonts , visual effects and much more :smile:
