I have one of these and can recommend it. I used to have a G90x (can't recall the exact number) and you'd think that would be better but I was never completely happy with it. It was a bit too small and the shape wasn't really right. I got a PowerPlay mouse mat and upgraded the mouse to a compatible version and decided on the G502 because it was a bit bigger and more ergonomically shaped. It's not huge but I would think big enough for most hands.
