Looking for EFS alternative folder encryption software

Is there any third party software that can transparently encrypt folders or files like EFS? I am running Windows 10 Home and EFS is not available. Of course, I can encrypt files using 7-zip. But I have to pack and unpack the archive again and again if I need to modify the files frequently, this way has low effectiveness and it's a bit boring.
