Not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but I've noticed two dents on my speaker grill. One towards the top that is circular and another towards the bottom that is straight. I don't believe they were there when I got the phone, and my suspicion is that something on the underside of the slide has or still is damaging it. They're not big, but noticeable and really bug me. I am within my 30 days so should I try to get a new one? I'm afraid they'll try to say I damaged it and deny me. Or I could just return it and get a Focus, but I'd rather not. Thanks for any advice!

I suppose something could have gotten wedged in between or something. Dishonest but you could try to trade it in just saying dropping calls or what not cause I doubt they will work with you because of cosmetic reasons.

Another quick question then. Is it a known issue to have hubs freeze? I know a lot of ppl say marketplace freezes their phone, but a lot of times for me the market or Zune hub will start and say "loading" and then just kicks me out to the Start screen and will continue to do so until a reboot.

If it were my store we would return it and we would look to see whats causing it.

same thing here , But if its clearly NOT the phone causing it and something else might have ( that might be your fault directly or indirectly) . we would not exchange it , it be considered phisical damge witch i hope is not the case for you,

One thing that I have seen bouncing between forums is that in the sliding mechanism there are little bracket like things that have broken loose and dented the speaker. That is not your fault and would be coverd by the 30 day exchange or the 1 year manufacturer warranty also. If the store wont help you I would call ATT Customer support and the number is 1 800 331 0500. Put in your number and press 0 a few times it will get you to an actual person not the computer.
