I've already got the Verizon version. A buddy of mine works for Microsoft and he sent me a message today so I posted up the link here. A lot of people were waiting for someone besides Verizon to handle it. My Verizon store still doesn't even have it on display. I'm absolutely befuddled as to the reasoning they had an exclusive so I just need to know a bunch about big business that I just don't apparently know...

Are you going to get one?

Isn't that the same landing page that was up from the announcement day? T-Mobile's went up like 15 minutes later. I remember laughing because of how terrible the graphics were on it. I still don't put too much faith in them coming to the GSM carriers here, but I bet if they come, they will be re-etched standard M8's as they make room for the Desire Eye later this year.

And Laura, the M8 is gorgeous... Once you understand how the Duo Cam works, you won't miss the PureView quite so much. Just remember, don't use the standard Windows camera App, use the HTC one!

Yeah, I think this is the same page that went up after Verizon announced it. I'm looking forward to this phone arriving on ATT but, sadly, I don't think this page is a "new" development.

I'm not sure how I would feel about buying a new M8 for Windows right now knowing that they have the Android Desire Eye in the pipeline. If they made the first WP move with the M8, the Desire Eye would be a nice upgrade to it. Of course, now we are only months away from the M9 as well...

The dangers of signing an exclusive that is too long. I mean the 830 is coming for sure. Then will the 930 make an appearance on AT&T or not? What's the next real flagship that is coming for AT&T? I think T-Mo will be sitting this one out completely due to lack of interest in a $600 phone. The price difference between the 635 (sub $100) and the M8 ($650) is just too much. I don't see anyone wanting to pay the extra without that subsidy. Sprint was a no-go from the start due to the fact they've only sold 5 8XTs and are still sitting on a TON of HK M8s right now.

Too bad though, for $600 and $45 a month on Verizon you can get a pretty good setup with no contract required...

It sucks that ATT doesn't seem to want to carry any more 5-inch-ish 1080p flagship WP devices yet Verizon has three now IIRC. I have a Lumia 1520 and while the 1080p screen is gorgeous, it is too damn big for me. What I'd love to see is WP 8.1 Update running on my Nexus 5.

No Laura we can't lose you, girl I wouldn't waste an upgrade for that this late in the game as you may miss out on some good win10 devices.

I am itching for a new phone, however....and though the m8 is a lesser device to me, I am considering getting it as a secondary phone. The camera is abysmal but I will still have my Lumia.

Then again...i can't see myself using that so I am considering the 830, which in most cases I can easily accept it as a much lesser device than my 1520 vs the m8.

I do want a new device though since I've been on the 1520 since last year and the way my att next work I'd be eligible for a new Lumia in early 2015

Any chance your buddy knows if we'll ever get the 8.1/cyan/denim update on the Icon? Using an m8 now but I kind of miss my Icon, which isn't all that functional without the update...
