Losing contacts

I set up exchange my wife's Touch using mail2web. Is there any way to not have the contacts be erased if i delete the mail2web exchange account from the phone?

Eep. I'd recommend syncing it to your computer to back up your contacts, delete the mail2web account, then re-sync to the computer to get them back.
