could you explain more about what happened? Which OS version are you on, what happened, what device etc

SP4 i7 16GB all updates done - Microsoft Edge continues to to periodically crash and loose all settings and bookmarks - boots up like you have never used it before. It is totally unreliable and honestly useless. Hope for a more stable upgrade with the pending anniversary.

Yes, the anniversary update should solve your edge issues - if it doesn't you can get back to us. I would have suggested a clean install but the upgrade is a good option too
