Lost contacts after updating to 10572

I went straight from 8.1 on a Lumia 640. Is there a method to download these back??? I synced them all to my microsoft account and have the account linked to my phone so I do not know why it isn't syncing. Also - I uploaded a backup copy to onedrive but can't find it on my phone. There is a copy on my SD card but it isn't reading that either. Other than these issues the build is great. If you have any solutions let me know.

It does take sometime for the contacts to sync with the device. If it doesn't work then you might need to perform a hard reset.

I am impatient so I just hard reset. Works great now! Best build by far.

Good to know it works. You can also update to the latest WM10 release.
