Loudspeaker mic no longer working?

Hey, Lumia 925 here.
When the device is on loudspeaker or say running on an aux cable to my vehicle or even trying to speak with Cortana an also including music match service of Cortana while I have a song playing on the device, I get no mic feedback. Its like its dead....
Rather than that all phone calls directed via earpiece microphone works like a charm.
I feel its a software issue, unless the device has a separate mic I'm unaware of?
Running Windows phone 8.1 update 1.

The Lumia 925 has a 2nd mic at the top for speaker phone and dictation. That mic is dead. I've seen this happened on the Lumia 925 before.

Not really, it works at times, basically comes an goes in my case.
I just suspect it to be a software case.

I have the same issue. If during a call I activate the loudspeaker for handsfree calling, the phone switches to mute. It's reversed immediately as soon as the loudspeaker function is deactivated, so it doesn't feel like a hardware issue.

Same thing happened to me, seems like a serial defect among 925s. Took it to a Nokia care and they replaced the secondary mic.

It's a common problem. You can buy a new headphone jack/speakerphone mic on ebay.
