Hate how faded the Nokia logo is too. Pretty symbolic of what's become of the company. Still (by far) the best hardware designers on the planet IMO, but the Lumia 930 is a disappointing on several levels that many of us have already touched on.
What several levels are you talking about?! It looks like an awesome phone!
Well, just look at some of the threads in this subforum... the 930 is clearly divisive. Some mention the blocky, "uninspired" design, others the lack of differentiation from the Icon, others yet the screen size, other specs, etc. As far as me personally... I don't mind any of the specs (wouldn't mind a bigger display though), but my gripe is the design. I much prefer the trademark Lumia look of the N9, 800, 920, 720, 1520.
You had me at Orange. Go San Francisco Giants, Go Windows Phone, Go Nokia. I only pick winners.
We all like different things.
I love the look of it. Smooth metal around the edge, the color on the back that really pops if you choose green or orange and the buttons are, weird enough, sexy as hell.
Screen size for me is perfect and the specifications are absolutely good enough for my use. Don't care so much about memory card, my 920 has more than enough space for me to enjoy, especially with the cloud.
The fact that it's built on Icon doesn't matter, I live in Norway and really don't care what is or isn't in the US.
You could of posted a few pics of it to convince the crowd, n/m I'll do it:
