I switched my 920 for a 930 ... and the battery difference is huge!

Don't get me wrong, my old 920 with Black/8.0 it has a great battery life, but Cyan/8.1 it's not optimized for this device.
The whole Cyan/8.1.1 thing on L930 are so much better.

I really hope that denim doesn't kill my battery :unhappysweat:

Give me some details:
Data always ON (if yes, 3g or 4g? Or wifi?
How many mailboxes do you have?
Do you use your phone a lot, or its 70% the time inside your pocket?

Im using iPhone 5S and thinking about change to Lumia 930.

- Data connection always on (4G) when I'm out of office (Wi-Fi here), but I don't "turn it off" once that if you have wi-fi connection, data disables itself.
- Three mail-boxes (Outlook updated every 15 min , Gmail updated every hour and a Exchange Account updated when arrives);
- My usage it's average to high (30% screen off).
- I barely play games;
- I have to mention that this screenshot it's of today, so the last time I charged my phone it was Saturday afternoon (Usage through the weekends are more intense).
- WhatsApp it's a battery killer;

Well no matter how you twist and turn it the 930 has horrible battery life if using it much. There's no way around that. But everything's relative I guess. If the 930 had at least good battery life I would have kept it. Though I went ahead to a LG G-Flex and couldn't be happier with the battery.

Last charge (nothing short of fantastic):

Well, speaks for yourself :) my hardware revision: 2.0.0.2.

Can you please list your app live tile screen? Do you have apps like Flipboard, WPCentral, Skype, Instagram, Facebook?
Because if you don't and use the phone as a business phone with e-mails and such I expect this battery life, else I cannot explain why my Lumia 930 can't hold for more then 20h straight.
I have outlook the live account e-mail set on as items arrive, company app e-mail as items arrive, Skype, WhatsApp, Messenger pinned on screen along with Flipboard, Tweetium, Facebook, People, Wpcentral, Music, Tubecast app.

20Hs it's pretty good for a 930. Much better than my friends iPhone 5S lol

Live Tile and running in background: WhatsApp, Shazam, WPC, Music, Messenger, Facebook, Store, MSN Money and Cortana.

Screen brightness Medium:

from that image it show that you never use any apps on your droid, just let it "standby" for 2 days
if it just standby, my lumia 720 with 3G data on can live for 5-6 days
with heavy usage it still can pass 1 day and I think cyan update bring battery performance for my 720, especially when standby

I for one am very pleased. Mine is constantly going 20 -25 hours (20 if I play games like Chronology for maybe 25 minutes a day) and then closer to 25 if I don't. My record is 30 hours without babying it. I think it's really down to personal usage, but for me I can do whatever I want all day long (within logical bounds obviously) and go to bed with a very nice chunk of the battery left, and then even get to lunch the next day if I need to. I'm happy for you Zapella!

Although not loving the battery, i'm getting ~ 36hrs in 95% of my usage scenarios: 4G (turned off while at home/Wifi, 4x mail on push, whatsapp/fb/... on push with livetile, heavy texting on all apps. Screen set to auto. This is ok-ish, but yeah a 3000mhA-Battery would have been nice, especially for heavy photo/gaming-sessions.

Android System includes many things. How did you come to the conclusion that it was on standby for two days with a screen on time of almost 9 hours in those two and a half days? Also standby specifically says 8% usage in the stats if you look. I've used it for many things. Youtube, WhatsApp, Messenger, email, Tapatalk, Play Store, Spotify (hours of streaming), Chrome and many other apps... the normal smartphone usage and not light usage at all. The apps used are listed further down on the stats. Battery life IS fantastic. I would say about 5 times better than the the 930 when using it much. Not trying to fool anyone (I've had 5 930's to compare with). I liked the 930 but battery life was horrible. About as bad as on the Nexus 5 on the Android side if not even worse. Standby time was awesome though. But that's no use to me when active usage time is really bad.

To be fair the G-Flex has about the best battery life you can get on a smartphone today with its 3500mAh battery. The 930 has 2400mAh I believe but the difference in actual battery life should not be that big. Somehow they failed with the 930. Not acceptable battery life for a flagship phone. Seems even the 830 will have better battery life and I've seen that reported on Swedish forums.

No disrespect intended, but while that is good to hear you get great battery life with your android phone(i'll reserve comment on your OS of choice), 58 hours is superb and excellent but then again so what lol. It's mainly bragging rights really.

To me a phone is great is if it makes it through my entire day without dying. While it is awesome if a phone can last nearly 3 days without a charge, l am not going to sit around and say that this guy getting 20 hours on his icon has bad battery life lol.

That's great to me. Heck, I am fine getting 10 hours on my phone tbh :D So anything higher than 10 is great. But the icon/930 doesn't have bad battery life because it can't do 58 hours lmao.
