Stupid question, but has anyone seen confirmation of LTE on this phone? I can't imagine it doesn't have it, but...

Just checked Engadget real quick and they say it has LTE.

It definitely has lte. It will be released on Verizon and that is one of their requirements.

I noticed it didn't have lte listed on the wpcentral comparison chart, but i figured it was just an oversight

I couldn't find LTE mentioned on the official HTC website specs.

Perhaps after HTC found out about the 920 they pulled their top of the range WP8 model and it's yet to be announced.

As pointed out in another post of mine, LTE only for US version. No LTE (aka 4G to the rest of the world) for the International version which is very VERY disappointing

If that's true the 8X is no longer an option for me for the mere fact that they show that they are not going to give the same support to international customers.

As per the announcement O2 to stock both HTC Windows Phone 8 devices, listed as 'coming soon' | wpcentral | Windows Phone News, Forums, and Reviews it shows that LTE will be supported in the UK

The S4 chip that all windows phone 8 devices are using has lte built in, whether or not it will ship enabled or with the bands you need in your country is another question. In the USA it will be lte enabled
