Lumia 1020 Cyan Nokia Software Recovery Problem

Please can somebody advise me. Every single time i try rollback or use the nokia software recovery tool it tells me software package for this device is not available. Ive done a bunch of research and apparently its a sort of IMEI vs Software mismatch, as im rocking a prototype 1020 which originated from another country (long story) i have no idea what the IMEI would have been matched to. Anyway the point is no can cyanup. All the older nokia flash tools seem to kick me as well so thats not great. Anybody have similar issues with the Software recovery tool and find a work around?

It's not the IMEI, it should be the Product Code. Connect your phone to Product Support Tool and post your Model (RM-XXX) and Product Code

Okay, it doesn't look like the recovery package is available on Navifirm. If you are not too worried about losing the software benefits of having a prototype, you can always flash to an unbranded RM-975 ROM. Out of curiosity, can you post the manufacturer name that shows in extras+info in settings?
