Lucky US users....so far as I can see, the Microsoft UK store doesn't even mention the 1020. Since there's nothing like the 1020, it's sometimes tempting to buy a spare, in case there's no 1020 successor.
It won't work on Verizon. Verizon is a CDMA network and it's a GSM phone.
It's mindblowing how much MS products depreciate. About a year ago a L1020 was $300 with two year contract! Now you can get one no strings attached for the same price.
That's a really good price, tempting to replace my Lumia 920 maybe... I can imagine it's going to be pretty sweet with the Denim firmware, speed up camera stuff with background processing.
The Lumia 1020 camera is leagues ahead of the 830, and neither have passive voice activation, if the 830 had that I'd hands down buy one.
Yes the 1020 is temting, but I would think that MS needed to bring more high end devices, they aren't selling that many !
Ok if they start selling the new before Christmas in USA , that means close to Easter in Europe ! Aren't they just still to slow to keep up with the new technology !
I couldn't resist such a great deal.... I just cracked the screen on my 920 and have always wanted the 1020 for the 41 mp goodness. Now I can put away my Moto X again and get back to windows phone.
