I did use digital zoom, went down to 1.9mp in raw editor and no resizing, I could of got more data by up scaling to 10mp then using reduce shake in photoshop but i did not want to edit that far as that would not so much of the camera then, i could get that same images as the p900 with a 50x zoom lens or the 100x zoom lens for phones but not got ?100 laying around XD the p900 would be much better if it pushed out more res i thinkNot sure if you already used digital zooming or have already resized the image after the shot, but by how much could you resize the resulting image? This seems timely for that recently-released video of the Nikon P900's optical zoom capabilities.![]()

For me the most important thing for comparable quality devices is the sensor size...larger size means more light which translates to better quality. P900 might have a huge optical zoom and will of course provide very good pictures for very high magnifications. On the other hand though, Lumia 1020 will take better photos at normal settings. The sensor size difference is considerable (1/2.3 for P900 and 1/1.5 for 1020).
