Lumia 1020 screen glass so delicate?

I'm pretty sure that the 1020 has sratch resistant glass screen, but the glass is so delicate, it gets sratches by ANYTHING.. My old Samsung without any special glass (gorilla or whatever), never got so sratchy.. But this 1020 glass man.. I'm not impressed by this 1020 quality...

How do I fix this? How much does the glass cost? Only the glass, not the digital screen beneath it.

I had my first 1020 for about 10 months without a case or screen protector on it, and kept it in my pocket (denim jeans) every day and never got one tiny little scratch. Then I dropped it one day and of course the screen shattered, but up until then, never the slightest scratch! Not even the fine "micro" scratches (like my old 920 uses to get) I'm real happy with the 1020's Gorilla Glass 3 (as opposed to the 920's GG2) and it's scratch resistant coating... maybe something is wrong with yours and it's defective? I don't know... I'm on my 2nd 1020 now, and feel quite comfortable without a screen protector on it.. Going on 2 months without and scratches..

And IIRC, the 1020's glass has to be replaced along with the digitizer/screen. I don't think you can replace just the glass.. Someone may correct me on this, but that's what I've heard.

Mine is in just about perfect condition after four and a half months of use. I'm curious how you are using it to get scratches.

Just thought I'd add a note that I dropped my 2nd 1020 already... Another $200 deductable and this time they're sending me a 1520 as a replacement! I guess they're (Asurion; AT&T's insurance handler) out of stock or have discontinued the 1020s?
