Lumia 1320: how to transfer photos to Windows 8.1 PC?

I have been trying to transfer my photos from my Lumia 1320 to my windows 8.1 computer but am getting very confused.

Is there an app that will automatically transfer my latest photos or an easy way to do this? I'm getting very frustrated :angry:

You'll need one of these apps if you don't want to drag and drop the files using Windows Explorer. Windows Phone app for Windows in the Windows Store

You do need to remember that in the northern hemisphere, transfers swirl down the USB cord in a counter-clockwise manner.

Since you are in the southern hemisphere, your data rotates clockwise. But I'm sure all your cables are already left handed.
