I'll send you a pic as soon as it's done :). I'm not even sure if it's Cyan, but what else could it be? Currently installing... gears a-turnin' on my display.

I just checked... nada for me... Do we have to go through the downgrade to 8.0 first?

By all accounts, yes you do. But I never updated to the DP to begin with.

Is anyone else seeing the update? Kinda creepy that I got it just a few hours after sending Nokia Care my IMEI and some personal info. But if it's indeed Cyan, not to mention the Cyan for our variant, then I'm not complaining.

Just to confirm, it IS indeed Cyan. Not finished updating (currently migrating data), but one of the prompts said that it was Windows Phone 8.1. Can only be Cyan since it's not the DP.

Wow, this is awesome news!! I just hate the thought of having to downgrade first though. I have some apps installed on the internal memory and some on the microSD card along with videos, music and photos. Once I get updated with the 8.1 w/Cyan will it reformat my microSD card too?

I am not sure as I don't use an SD Card. AFAIK it does as you would (and it makes sense) to have to reinstall apps on new firmware/OS but please don't take my word for it. I am sure if you did a search someone else asked the same question

Not having most of the additions 8.1 brings, and being restricted on what apps I can install is a pain. This the the flagship of their flagship so they should treat it as such

I'd probably be a lot more upset if we didn't have the option of installing the developer's version of 8.1. That makes a world of difference.

My phone just went back to the home screen and scrolled to the bottom all by itself while I was in settings -_-. This has never happened before. Only previous problem with my phone was the swipe/tap/scroll bug. Really hope that was just some kinda strange one-off.

I have fat fingers so I miss-hit all the time but that's hopefully a 1-off....8.1 is installing now here....hopefully Cyan thereafter
