Lumia 1520 Battery Dead near 40%

Hi

I have a Lumia 1520 which is working for about 3 years.

recently I have a problem with my battery percentage, for example OS shows that I have 42% battery and suddenly OS warning pops up and says that "Battery critically Low and after one second phone turns off automatically and when I turn it on again OS says that I have 2% or even 1%. What's the problem?!
I was downgrade to windows 8, I was change the ROM to another CV rom.

Hi and welcome to windows central.

likely a battery issue, i recommend you to change the battery with the official one as the behavior clearly indicates toward faulty battery.

As the battery is non removable you will need to take the device for a replacement to the authorized service center.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I have the exact same issue. 30-40% battery and then dead. Then sometimes when I charge it it will stay at about 60% for an hour or so and then all of a sudden show 100% charged. I'm in the US so there are no service centers and I don't think the MS store will do anything at this point so I think I'm screwed.

It's time to change your battery, that happened to me before, issue was solved by replacing the battery.
