Lumia 1520 Glance Screen

Hey I'm wondering if the Glance on my 1520 is working correctly. It seems very dim like it's in night mode (reduced brightness)which it isn't. I've had lots of Lumias , ie 800, 920, 925, 1020, 1320 and by comparison the Glance doesn't seem nearly as bright as others I've had. Especially in daylight it's difficult to see. I'm on the latest dev preview if that helps? My brightness settings on high and auto brightness turned off.
