lumia 1520 screen protector

i just received my new lumia 1520 and i changed it twice already due to dead pixel. hopefully my third device wont have any defective parts (nokia in your last days u have very bad quality control)

i want to buy the best screen protector that wont change the quality of my beautiful 1520 screen (no glare or the feel of mixed colors that you get from screen protectors)

i dont care if the protector gets scratched, i care about the intact quality. what do you recommend guys?

I'm one of those who do use protectors. I've tried 3 already and ripped apart the first 2 as I didn't like them. The first 2 I bought were alibaba and mpero. The one I have right now is Capdase Klia from Hong Kong. Got it off eBay if I remember it correctly. It's cut not too big so as not to have those lifts or peels on the edges. The Klia line is similar to spigen's oleophobic line so smudges are easily wiped off. I did order a tempered glass though to see how it'll fare on the phone. Still waiting shipment.

I am using the Zagg InvisiShield on mine - was initially concerned because I could not find the "HD" version, but my concern was unfounded. I used the Dry version and it is flawless. One piece of advice - trust the alignment aids - it truly goes edge to edge so if you leave a little room at the top, by the time you get to the bottom it will overhang. The cut is very precise, so just trust it.

Absolutely love it. It comes with two and you can either apply it dry or wet. I messed up the first one, so, glad there was another one. It takes some time to cure if you do the wet application - up to 24-30 hrs to fully cure. When I got it for my 920, I got it right on the first try and it stayed on until I sold it (several months).

I use the ZAGG InvisiShield as well; perfect! I originally didn't want to get it because I thought it would give the screen that rubbery feel, but as a matter of fact it's extremely smooth, plus it protects the screen. Try to get out as much bubbles as you can before you let it set in though; once it sets in, don't try to force out any bubbles, or else you'll pop up the edges (like I did.)

you might just be disappointed. i tried that before. it's like having a leather skin on the screen. orange peel galore on a beautiful large screen.

I'm using a generic one I got from eBay that came along with my phone case.
It doesn't cover the screen entirely but it works well. No problems yet.
I've had Zagg on my old N8 and it felt like rubber... No orange peel though. I don't know how far they've come since but another member just claimed it didn't feel rubbery.

Unfortunately pretty much any wet install protector is going to feel rubbery, but the advantage to them is that they can be manipulated to cover the entire screen because of their flexibility. I would MUCH rather have a dry install like iSmooth that doesn't cover the entire screen, but feels every bit as smooth as the stock screen...and in some cases even better than the stock screen.
