I would absolutely love to get a Lumia 930 when it comes out here in Spain, but after learning that there is no glance screen, I don't think I can manage. It's become quite critical to my daily use. I suppose I could adjust, but for now I'm seriously considering upgrading from my 920 to the 1520. One of the primary reasons is the weight of the 920. So, I wanted to know how is the size of the 1520 in actual daily use? Does it comfortably fit (or fit at all) in a back pocket (fitted pants, nothing baggy)? I haven't been able to find one in a store to play with, so I don't know how it is to handle. Any info or thoughts are appreciated!

Very usable and fits in my pants. I am an average guy (5'11", 170 lbs) and it fits in my pocket. 2 handed use is no problem. 1 handed is a bit hard, but doable. The weight is negligible; it neither feels heavier or lighter than my previous phones (Note, Note2, Dell Venue Pro). **I am sure there are weight differences, but from a personal perspective, i do not notice it.

I own a 920 as well and have been strongly considering upgrading to a 1520. Only piece of advice I have for you is to get your hands on one first before ordering. I live around Microsoft and AT&T stores and have played with 1520s in-store a bunch of times. No matter how many times you see the 1520 in videos and pictures, the size will surprise you when you see it in person. That said, it feels good in hand... slim and not too heavy, despite being noticeably bigger.

The main place where I'd like to carry my 1520 is in my suit jacket pocket, and the 1520 is just too big to fit horizontally into one. So, I carry it vertically, and it sticks out, hangs, and often falls out.

Fortunately, Nokia durability has kept the phone relatively pristine despite its multiple instances of sudden deceleration syndrome.

I've broken too many phones from putting them into jeans pockets, so I don't even try anymore. Lately, I'm starting to long for those old holsters we used to carry on our waists.

As for day-to-day handling, I'm very much used to the size. The keyboard is a WHOLE lot easier to deal with than the one on my 925 or 521. The screen is big enough that I can make my fonts bigger (for my aging eyes), yet still show enough on the screen to make it worthwhile.

I really wouldn't want to go back now.
