Lumia 1525 rumor ?

A while back in early July, some sites (including WPCentral: Lumia 1525 said to be coming to T-Mobile, possibly to fill high-end void | Windows Phone Central) had cited evleaks as a source stating the Lumia 1525 might fill the high-end Windows Phone void at t-mobile (given they've stopped selling the L925)...

Has anyone found any kind of update to be had on this rumor? I've tried searching a bit but have found nothing... figured I'd ask to keep the hype train wheels turning.....

No updates yet. I do expect it to be unveiled closer to the holidays.

Normally, MS (Nokia phone division in the past) are revealing new phones along with new firmware update (1520/1320 w/ Lumia Black, 930/630/635 w/ Lumia Cyan, 730/735/830 w/ Lumia Denim). According to newest rumors, GDR2 will be available as a preview on 8 October, so soon after this the next Lumia firmware (Lumia Emerald probably) will be announced together with new phones, and in my opinion these will be 1020 and 1520 successors.

If the 1525 materializes... I promise, no one will come to your house and force you to use it.

I got tired of waiting for the mythical 1525 to be released and then wait an extra year for it to come to T-Mo after everyone else on Vzw an AT&T had it, used it and put it on eBay.

Always ! haha let's hope you're right - I would love to buy a 1020 successor or a 1520 successor... whichever was more compatible with T-Mobile... Can't even imagine a 1020 successor; that would just be a sexy beast of a phone... TBH I'm in so dire need of a replacement phone right now I'm considering buying a 1020 (AT&T then unlock it) b/c gosh... that Camera was amazing.. (I had a 1020 unlocked for a while but it got stolen and my insurance only covered replacing the amount so I had to get a Lumia 925 which is a great phone... but is now super cracked haha)
