Lumia 520 as a tethering device

I recently upgraded my broadband internet connection and the package also Includes 1gb 4g internet. Unfortunately I have to use a 3g/4g only sim card. So I'm planning to buy a Lumia 520 for this 1gb 4g plan. But I need to know and if anyone have tried, how long will this phone last with tethering always on? And is this phone capable of connecting to 4g or 3g networks?

It'll last around 4 hours if you leave it alone while tethering HSPA+.

According to the specifications, the Lumia 520 does not support 4G.
3G is fine.

update: based on my L520 usage as a tethering device, it will last about 16 hours.
