Lumia 520 with 8.1

Hey, if u have updated ur lumia 520 to windows 8.1 how is it working? Is it smooth as the previous version of os(black) ?

I downloaded the update on my 520 and it said welcome to windows 8.1 and such after it all downloaded and installed. I noticed nothing new, no Cortana(im in the US) no new backrounds, etc) It then said I have another phone update, so Im updating again currently.

do a hard reset after installing 8.1 update.
before hard reset there was no cortana and cell had become slow.
after hard reset there was cortana and cell was smooth.
so everyone should do a hard reset after 8.1 update.
and guys 3 column looks ugly so dont keep it(if you like it that way you can keep it,0

Yup. This one takes a lot longer apparently. Im at 89%. A friend told me the first update apparently is to ready your phone for 8.1(as after it says your phone is ready for 8.1) then you get another update shortly after(it will push it, or you can search for it in the settings)

yaa as it was laggy and i was not able to find cortana.
if you dont want cortana you shouldnt do hard reset.
but my advice is you should do a hard reset.
