HelIlo, I am Nikhil from India and I am soon going to buy a budget windows phone on my upcoming birthday i.e, on 27 july, but i am really confused between buying lumia 630 or 525, can anyone tell me what should i go for and why? Thanks in Advance. :-)

Advance wishes...if you ask me will say Lumia 630.. Only difference is 512MB RAM lesser than 525..but it really sports a new and faster processor..virtual navigation bar..Right now Microsoft is optimizing all the games to run in 512MB ram phone..

Thanks for the reply guys, i am not gonna wait for lumia 830 because it will be out of my budget but i can wait for lumia 530 as i guess it is gonna be launched soon.

Experience always overweight's specs. The L525 might have more RAM, so in theory you could run more games in the long run.

But the L630 has more screen estate, on screen buttons (great for customization), faster CPU, better display, Gorilla Glass, somewhat better camera, better b battery and (depends on preference) better overall design.

If those two are your options, I think it's rather easy what you should buy.

Ok then i will go with lumia 630 but if the lumia 530 is launched before my birthday, i will reconsider it, if lumia 530 has better specs, anyways thanks to everybody

If budget is your concern, you might also want to check some non-Lumia phones from Xolo or Micromax...again if you want to try a non-Lumia. Spec wise, they are slightly better than the Lumias, except the camera department. They come with 1GB RAM, front facing camera, microsd slot and dual SIM.

Don't rule out the 525 too quickly.

525
1 GB RAM, meaning more games (which some complain about on lower RAM devices, ugh all those Subway Surfer threads...)
Camera button
4" display, its smaller, but sharper, perhaps not as deep blacks as the 630
actual soft buttons on the front, not lit however

630
More cores, but not too big of a difference?
Virtual buttons, comes down to personal preference I'd say
No camera button
harder to find batteries, but the battery is much larger
Larger 4.5" display but isn't as sharp, supposedly better, but I can't say.

No rumor for anything else, if you can pick up a secondhand/older device, like a 620, it probably is a good option.
