I have had my L625 now for almost 2 years. Last year I travelled to Tanzania with it and it worked fine with the local carriers despite hearing that these phones do not work very well in Africa.
This year I travelled there again and truly to what I had heard, my phone did not work at all. It had issues with connectivity as well as constant freezing.
Strange as it may sound, the moment I returned to Finland, the phone started working well as if it had no issues at all. This has made me think that next time I travel there, I should take an android phone with me.
Still I would like to know what caused the strange mulfunction of my phone when I was there? Is it really true that these phones were not made for Africa?
