My wife has been running my Lumia 640 with Windows 10 Mobile 14393.576 to see how it works in "real world" use. The trouble is the internet connection is extremely unreliable in that a lot of the time she keeps getting "No Connection" when trying to browse the web making it unusable. I have looked at the settings and can't see anything obviously wrong. Anyone else having the same or similar problems on T-Mobile?

Make sure cellular data is turned on. My wife was complaining about this last week, and somehow she had turned the cellular off. She was only able to get connected when in range of a wi-fi network.

That is one of the first things I checked. Even rebooted, not that she hadn't already done that.

Never mind I finally added a manual Internet APN for fast.t-mobile.com and it seems to be working now. Yet I could've sworn it was working without this at one point. For some reason I thought you only needed an APN for MMS.

Looks like I am having the same issue as well. I went through Canada last weekend and noticed once I got rback in the US that my phone would not display LTE next to this signal bars. I reset my phone and it worked for a few days then back to no LTE indicator? I checked my cell connections speed (LTE) and network with no luck. I am at the latest build Windows 10 Mobile 14393.576. My Lumia 735 is the same build but does not have this issue. Thoughts?

Glad to hear it, thanks for reporting back!
Didn't have anything to do with it working on my Wife's 640. The T-Mobile App wouldn't even open as it said complained that only WiFi was available due to there being supposedly no data connection. Once I put in the APN in manually though the phone data worked fine without even opening the T-Mobile App.

I manually added the APN as well so so far so good. Ironically it seemed to have started after I went through Canada and was on Bell for a few hours. Let's hope this works.

I have found T-Mobile data to behave strangely at the best of times to be honest, not just with Windows Phones. Thankfully it still works well enough most of the time though.

I've had this issue when I upgraded to 10 on my 640. Had to hard reset. Though I would try removing the sim and reinserting it, setting data to roam.
