Lumia 650 on Fast Insiders. Do I get a better phone?

Currently not on the Insiders program on my new Lumia 650. I promised myself no Insiders for my new phone but now two weeks later the urge to join up is overwhelming me terrible.
Who else here is on the fast ring and did you notice good or bad differences?
One feature I like that may or may not be on the mobile Insiders is the ability to customize colors for one.

Tbh if this is your only phone, I'd stay away from the fast ring. Not that anything bad will happen, but when you need the phone for sth urgent, you might get hit with performance issues right at that very moment lol.

Apart from that, living in the fast lane ain't all that bad
