Lumia 650 skype app error

The skype app,zooms into the video call every time.There seems to be no way getting out of it.I've tried soft resetting it and reinstalling the app.Help?

is it the same if you use the skype video app?

I haven't tried that yet but I've heard it sucks up your data pretty bad and im in a position where data is kind of limited.So I would rather not try that.

I think the data usage would be the same for both apps as they both use the same camera
