Lumia 720 - Indian Users

PM me or post here however it goes. Unfortunately my plans will ber postponed for a week. I forgot to get my phone purchase bill to Chennai :|
Have to get it done in Bhopal

Lot of Lumia 720 users had that "VOLUME DOWN NOT WORKING" issue including me .....went to nokia care center and repaired it.
Evidently there was something wrong with the whole strip connecting the volume, power & camera keys,got it replaced.

those storage clearing apps havent worked for me
try this-
go to onedrive on ur pc and move all the folders into another folder and create more folders of the same names in the original location
then change the date on ur phone ahead by one month or more and reboot
once it turns on again go to the storage thingy and delete temporary files or also try storage checker and delete temporary files there too
and change date back to normal and reboot again,if this doesnt clear most of it , take a full backup and hard reset(only if u need it badly imo)

i have just got some question before i buy this device... currently i am android user and using samsung galaxy grand.

as the ram of this device is only 512mb can i do multi tasking like while talking over skype. minimize skype and chat simultaneously over facebook and whats app that time without disconnecting skype call or skype got suspended that time due to low memory???

Just in my third month of using the L720, i dropped it hard and unfortunately directly on its top right corner. now the screen is dislodged by say about 2mm from the body at that corner and i can see a few internal chips shining through that small gap. also that area acts as a loose fit now. the main reason i noticed this was because i felt a difference in the seamless smoothness in the right corner. then when under hard light i saw, i noticed the shining chips inside. any suggestion as to what i can do? its really heartbreaking to have such a beautiful device being damaged

mostly ur back panel is damaged. 720 has a changeable back panel, which costs around Rs. 1300 in Nokia Care, and in gray market, u will find it at half the price. i think, changing it shall do the work, and ur 720 is new again.

Cortana not coming to India if you still want it you can change your region to US. About the update you can get the preview

wp 8.1 shall come officially to India by end of June. Cortana shall come by December.

pros:
-good camera
-nice design and color options.
-value for money.

cons:
-Low RAM(512 MB).

Hey guys! I am using lumia 720.Its been over almost a year now.This phone is a great phone, but it has given me many issues. Till now i have given my phone with Nokia care people many times.My phone's all the buttons were working abruptly(lock key, volume rocker key, camera key).They were not working fine. They used to work for a while then they don't. I was very pissed off about the situation. They changed my phones whole digitizer (surprisingly all the buttons are the part of the display). For some months t was working fine. But after some time it happened again. Then I thought I can live with the it. I cannot afford to live away from my cell for more 20 days. I live in Nagpur. And Care People In Nagpur, They rarely can do anything on their own. Always send the device to Mumbai. So I just Dropped the idea of gettting my phone fixed. Recently I updated my phone to 8.1. But even here.I am facing an issue. My phone is not focusing on any object. It seems like focus is preset to infinity. I have done a soft reset. A hard reset. And I have flashed my phone back to Wp 8 using NSU. Nothing is helping me. Please help me out!

Lumia 720 is really nice piece of hardware but it's quite delicate. Once u drop it, this problem with keys starts. Until then everything is perfect.
