I bought Insurance from "New India Assurance Co Ltd" for Rs 360 in May '13, got my relative another L720 in October at that time insurance was Rs 500/-
Please check insurance options before diving in.

No one will believe me!! My phone fell at the height of 7 feet !! That too on the stairs!! Luckily it was safe. Nothing went wrong only little scratches on both corners. It has been dropped more than ten times at the height from front(pant) pocket. Lumia 720 is the most sleek device ever made !!!. It needs rubber case to avoid the device slips from hands.

It was cross sold to me at the time of purchasing handset...i purchased it from Nokia Preferred Partner, Karol Bagh, New Delhi (not Priority Dealer, may be they too may be having this insurance scheme).
Please check from both outlets,Nokia Partners & Dealers.

Now they have increased it to 9000 and i had to shell out that much ( the cost of a 520) to replace my fkng screen. I almost ditched Nokia in frustration but thats how it is. godaam....

Hey Bro, its great to listen u that u repaired it from all india assurance, but can you tell me how many days it took to get fully repaired.

Just to add I got my insurance from New India Assurance through Nokia Priority Partner for Rs 360/- New Delhi, Karol Bagh.
Got my screen broken and had it replaced but had to pay differential amount of Rs 300 (7500-7200), 7200 was the amount approved and 7500 was the cost of screen.

I brought 2 Lumias 720 from Nokia Preferred Partner in New Delhi, India. Its an insurance product by "New India Assurance Co Ltd", do ask before buying it.
I guess this insurance ain't available to any other channel (i.e. Non Nokia shops and e-commerce sites)

Insurance is available only through Nokia Priority Dealer, they have tied with New India Assurance.
