Hello, I've a lumia 730 heating issue. Is it normal? I'm seeking for replacement but Nokia isn't agreeing as replacement can be done within 4 days from date of purchase. Many says flashing OS will resolve the issue of heating, but I feel it's not about flashing.

Also my camera glass is getting scratches. Is it normal? Give your valuable suggestions.

well m also using lumia 730..i dont really have any heating issue..been 20 days m using this phone on heavy usage..no problems at all expect that purple tint issue on grey blocks. try doing soft reset..if issue is still there..do hard reset. hope it fix.

Heating is a common issue.
So don't be panic.
It has processor & RAM , which will make it feel a bit heat or sometimes a heater.
But that's a common issue. Its not at all a fault device.

I have hardly experienced "Heating" on 730. It gets slightly warmed when you play high graphics games and other than that, it remains cool even if you perpetually use it for hours. If its getting hot on normal usage, then it could be a hardware issue on your device and Nokia should address this.

I can honestly say even with heating on in my house and phone charging my 735 has never had any heat issues. in fact it's one of the coolest running Lumia's I have owned

In addition to what has been said, you may also want to check that your phone has good 3G/4G reception. I have found this to be the most common cause of heating (both for the HTC 8s and the L1020), i.e. when signals drop (or worse, disappear completely), the phone begins searching for better cellular sites (or other permitted networks) to connect to - this activates the power-intensive 3G/4G antenna longer than usual, which then puts a heavy load on the battery causing it to heat up quickly.

As for the scratching, I am not aware of the type of glass used as the lens cover for the L730. For the L1020, I suspect its also Gorilla Glass (or some hardened glass variant) since it seems to have all the properties of a Gorilla glass screen: anti-reflective, oleophobic and scratch resistant. So, being a newer phone, the L730 might be have Gorilla glass, too, as the lens cover. If this is the case, it would take a HUGE amount of effort to scratch it... unless what you're seeing aren't real scratches but merely smudged pieces of sticky dirt (such as dried rice or other similarly dried pasty material). Nevertheless, a scratch doesn't appear on its own, as said by Fred Wilson2, so I'd be mindful of where I place my phone. Small bits of dust, especially sand, on a flat surface (e.g. a table) where you place your phone on is enough to scratch even Gorilla glass, since sand and some dust particles contain quartz - softer than Gorilla glass but small and hard enough to scratch it.

As for me, I have never placed my phone on a flat surface without my leather pouch for it to rest on... or even better I keep my phone inside the leather pouch as much as I can. Result: zero scratches both in front and the back, almost seven months and counting.

my lumia 730 is lagging when scrolling up and down in the internet browser. what should i do , red me 1s is not lagging

depends on what web pages u open, it may happen that data in the web page is high, and also contains flash and stuff..so it may lag..
try clearing history.and check..
anyways..lil lag in some web pages is normal

I also have micro-scratches on my 735's camera lens... I had a 710 for 2.5 years and never had scratches on the lens...so I'm not sure why this one is so poorly made. So far it's not causing any problems with taking pictures, but after only 2 months of use I'd expect no scratches. I baby my phones so this is quite disappointing. Is it possible that it has some type of coating that gets easily scratched? I'm sure the scratches can be polished out, but still.
