Lumia 810 check storage update?

Will us 810 users be getting the new update also? Sucks that the 920 gets all the attention.

My other storage space is almost 3gb, pretty ridiculous and shrink storage app does nothing really.

Do like I do and tweet the heck out of Nokia, Windows Phone support, and T-Mobile...I'm at 4GB in the other storage.

Apparently there is a work around to get the storage fix thing onto lumia phones. Check out How to enable storage check option - xda-developers it seems like this works, I am about to try it.

That work around appears to be for the 920. One person has the 820 in the thread and doesn't ever say that it worked for him. Good luck anyway.

We still need the firmware to be updated to get that feature. I've updated all the apps that everyone says to, and still no go. So, every day I've been checking for the firmware... hopefully soon.

Try an app called Phone Storage Cleanup instead. It's much better than Shrink Storage. Hopefully, that will tide you over until we get the update that includes the check storage feature.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Hopefully us 810 owners will get the manufacturers attention soon. I will join in on bombarding their twitter and forums lol.

Still waiting too, other at 4.97. Have tried both storage cleaners, cleaned out temp files and maps, moved everything I can to SD card and have pretty much uninstalled every non-Nokia app. Proud owner of a glorified phone/web-browser at this point.

And still down to only 350mb of space. Stinks. HURRY UP WITH THE FRIGGIN' UPDATE.

My 810 is not quite so stuffed, I have slightly under two gig available. I am however waiting for this storage check ability as well so that I can shrink my 2.25 other category. I've had the phone less than a month and have already put in a 16 gig memory card and have all pictures and music on that.

I think so, I just talked to T-Mobile and they appear to be pushing a newer Nokia...most likely the cheaply 521.

Newer Lumia is yet to come .. they are pushing it back for iPhone. if they pulled 810 only, that still shows its Lumia to Lumia.... but if you hold back 8x as well on the same time, are you trying to tell me that you got 810 and 8x both out of stock at same moment ?? That is far sure for iPhone since they can not sell the numbers.
