Lumia 820 auto switchoff after updating to Devlopers preview 8.1(cyan) update

[WPCentral Question]

I have been using my lumia 820 for more than a year now it was working just fine....But last month I updated my phone with the latest 8.1 windows....and from last couple of weeks my device has been getting auto switched off without any reason when it stays in idle mode...
To switch it back on I need to remove and then again fit the battery.....this happens more than 4-5 times a day....mostly when it remains idle for longer time.
So, whats the solution....?????

Have you updated it to the most recent version which was release last week...

Have you tried a soft reset? After pulling the battery that often you might try a hard reset. I have heard from others on this forum that doing so resolved many of their issues.

No it wont. I did so and everything except my notes in a ridiculously simple notes app came back even my start screen tile setup as I had it. If I would have used any of the dozens of other note taking apps I probably wouldn't had even lost that info.

If you've hit 'backup my data' or got it turned on, you'll be given the opportunity to restore it during the initial setup.
