Oh wow, that blows for me as I was just about to return my 822 to vzw because of a bad headphone jack. I guess my replacement could be delayed.

If you are planning on returning via customer service (phone or web), I have generally found that their replacement stock is independent of sales inventory. VZW brick and mortar stores also certainly have it in stock...
